i've always thought maternity photos to be rather self-absorbed and hokie, and i wasn't originally planning to do them. but i changed my mind at the last minute. this pregnancy hasn't been easy and i've complained more than i ought to, but i still relish every last minute of it. the last couple months have been particularly wonderful, and i wanted some photos to capture this moment in time. andrea roberts did the shoot, and i must say that i am absolutely thrilled with the photos. she just posted a sneak peek to her blog. here's my favorite shot:
