i'm hannah. i live in columbus, ohio with my husband, chad, and our two beautiful kiddos, maggie and gabriel (aka the witch minus her hat and the less-than-pleased turkey in the above photo from halloween '10).
up until very recently, i was a full-time working momma, wife, daughter and aspiring superwoman. unfortunately, i was failing miserably on all accounts. which is why i ultimately chose to trade in my job as an e-commerce buyer / merchandiser for a tween retailer to become a SAHM (stay-at-home mom). i know i'm lucky to even have this choice, but the decision to give up my career was extremely difficult for me. honestly, i'm not even convinced that i'm cut out to be a SAHM. but i'm going to give it my best shot. my kids deserve it.
and this blog? i hope it will serve as some kind of outlet. please stick around and join me in my random musings.
p.s. you may be wondering what the hell is "ibbunee"? well waaaay back in the day, many years before facebook or twitter or before i even had a cell phone, i used to chat on ICQ and the #korea channel of IRC. this was like 1996 when people had cool screen names like "aznhottie" or "qtjenny" or "DJfewlish" (real examples btw). mine was "ibbunee", which is a korean term of endearment and can be loosely translated as "pretty one". um yeah, so that sounds kind of egotistical now but i was 19 and quite fewlish. hehe. anyway, the screen name stuck because i could never think of a better or more original username for the many sites and message boards i joined throughout the years.
